Waterjet cutting applications: inside corner braces

Waterjet cut parts can be used in braces that are aligned so that the cut edge, rather than the face, connects to the part. This is accomplished using the “t-nut technique”, which I’ll describe in a later post. The low cost of waterjet cutting allows you to make corner braces at custom angles and with mounting points in the positions you choose. Since the cut edge is in contact with other parts, you might consider low-taper cutting for this application.
